The B.M.S. & M.Com. (Business Management) programmes of SVKM’s Mithibai College (Autonomous) provide comprehensive management training to students by way of interactive teaching-learning process, projects, presentations, industrial visits, practical training, job orientation, soft skills development and placements. It is perfectly designed programmes for aspiring Entrepreneurs, Managers and budding CEOs of tomorrow. Both the programmes aim at not only training students to become excellent Managers, Executives & Entrepreneurs but also leads to the all-round development of their personality.
The students are moulded perfectly to fit in with the requirements of an ideal Entrepreneur and Manager who knows how to make correct decisions, delegate work, and most importantly, to administer and coordinate with the entire organization.
In the third year B.M.S., the students can select Marketing or Finance as their area of specialization, and have relevant elective subjects from 5th Semester onwards. This helps them get in depth knowledge in their area of interest. There are Two compulsory project works in both B.MS. & M.Com (B.M.) programs.
The faculty at Mithibai College has worked on making the syllabus as current and relevant for the benefit of the student fraternity. The course provides a complete and a  perfect platform for students to explore the world of management in depth. The well qualified and experienced department faculty plays multiple roles for the students such as friend, philosopher and a guide. Mithibai College is regarded as one of the leading colleges which offer the best to students of Business Management.<
Even as the pandemic forced colleges to shut down, The Faculty of Department of Management realigned and enthusiastically pursued the College goal of Teaching 2.0 and inducted them into online teaching process. The faculty is well versed in online teaching as well and can engage practical sessions for Management students based on their syllabi.
We invite students with the zest and the endurance to face challenges, the passion to succeed and win, and also to commit you to building a managerial and an entrepreneurial personality with an international outlook.   • Ms. Rucha Modi an alumnus of 2013-2016 batch, presently working as an Associate Research Manager, Kantar was invited as a guest speaker on 17th of September 2019, on the topic Market Basket Analysis, Logistic Regression.
  • Mr. Akash Shah our very own student of 2011-2014 batch who is presently a CEO OF Everest Masala brand was invited for a Guest Lecture on 14 August, 2018 for TYBMS on the topic Sales & Distribution Management 
  • Mr. Pratik Thakkar an alumnus of 2012-2015 batch presently an entrepreneur of a startup of a  fitness brand was invited for a Guest Lecture on 7 September, 2018 for SYBMS on the topic Business Planning & Entrepreneurship Management 
  • Mr. Jigar Somaiya, an alumnus of 2011-2014 batch presently a Director of a Rajesh Roadlines Pvt Ltd. a Logistics company was invited for a Guest Lecture on 11 August, 2018 for TYBMS on the topic Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

  • Ms.Disha Doshi, our very own student of the 2006-07 batch and an entrepreneur has been sharing her knowledge and experience with the SYBMS students in the subject of “Export Import Management”.
