The Government is encouraging to foster entrepreneurship among the students. For the same students need to be educated about useful traits to be inculcated to be successful entrepreneurs. These skill sets learned would also be extremely helpful to them in any job. The college has since 2012, a placement cell and since 2017 Entrepreneur Development Cell. We would look forward to strengthen these with the grants from RUSA, by offering an integrated course to hone the skills of interested students with modules right from establishing a viable business idea right to framing a financial modeling for the same. We plan to conduct several activities such as workshops, interaction with successful entrepreneurs, building prototypes, setting up small campus start-ups, , internship opportunities with outside companies etc. to hone skills in our students. With the infrastructure available, we will provide students with working station to churn out successful entrepreneurs’. The college also plans to provide seed money to viable start ups.
With the ever emerging fields, it’s equally important to offer new Programmes and we envisage to offer students integrated programs as one desires to equip oneself with skills to help them surge in their desired career option.. These plans will help inculcate innovation and entrepreneurship and so an incubation center will be the need of the hour. Students of the SVKM group of institutions have an incubation centre made available, which we envisage to strengthen further.
