Mithibai Cultural Committee (MCC) is a student organisation that gives a vibrant platform to the stellar talents of Mithibai College. A student body entirely dedicated to nurturing and uplifting brilliant minds, MCC has always extended its horizons to cater to the most versatile and distinguished art forms. With several departments ranging from Dance, Drama, Music, Fashion, Fine Arts, Literary Arts, Business, Gaming & Sports and Graphics & Photo media, MCC leaves no stone unturned and no talent behind when it comes to inclusivity and diversITY of talents and art in itself.
Apart from student coordinators for every department, MCC also gives opportunities to students to lead the college contingent in some of the largest and esteemed college festivals. MCC has emerged victorious at fests around the country. Some of the most prestigious ones being:

• Champignons at Mood Indigo by IIT Bombay
• Malhar by St. Xavier's College

Despite the pandemic and virtual academic sessions, MCC soared newer heights by winning several prestigious college festivals and brought laurels like never before.
Mithibai Cultural Committee as a body has core values that ensures that everyone gets a fair opportunity to showcase their talents. With that objective in mind, it also organises an intra-collegiate Annual Talent Search (ATS) which has astounding participation. With over 10 events across departments, and about a thousand student participants, ATS is a force to reckon with. Celebrity judges such as Akasa, Sharib Hashmi, Faridoon Shaharyar not only add to the fervour but also to the brand value of our MCC.
About Kshitij
Mithibai Kshitij is SVKM’s Mithibai College’s International Intercollegiate Cultural Festival. Kshitij has had a brilliant legacy since its inception in 2007. Each chapter is full of stupefying stories of challenges, leadership, success and accolades. Kshitij’21 being the 15th edition of the festival adds to the marvels of Kshitij history.
Kshitij Team comprises of over 700 students who diligently work towards adding more prolificacy to this extravagant festival. Mithibai Kshitij holds the title of being Asia’s largest virtual festival. We are also the first ever college festival to have introduced para events, where we plan to host a number of events for the differently abled. Moreover, this year we also plan to host a few on-ground events namely, ‘super events.’ We have recorded nationwide participation along with international registrations, for instance the ‘national singing event’ which we plan to host on the college premises.
We are graced by the presence of amazingly talented artists and celebrities who not only entertain the organizing committee and the audience but also join us on our judging and conclave panels to provide us with their expertise. Furthermore, participants also get a chance to win gifts and prizes worth Rs 20 lakhs and cash prizes worth Rs 3 lakhs.

Among the virtual events organised during the pandemic, when the entire learning process was online were:
Football Fantasy Tournament and IPL Auction 2020
It was a fun virtual was organised for sports geeks. A Football Fantasy Tournament along with an IPL Auction was organised for the students of Mithibai College. Students dealt with players and celebrated the true essence of sports and never giving up spirit! The event concluded with a participation of more than 300 students across the college.
Annual Talent Search
Mithibai College's most awaited Annual Talent Search (ATS) was the highlight of events. The talent that Mithibai College boasts of, is largely identified, honed and polished up from the talent pool we get at ATS. It is a vibrant festival of creativity, positivity and sheer joy of expressing oneself on various platforms.
In 2020-2021, ATS went virtual for the first time! Annual Talent Search 2021 concluded with a participation of more than 1000+ students, with winners emerging in 7+ broad categories.
Annual Day Celebration 2021
Annual Day is the most vibrant festival of Mithibai College. All existing teams under the Cultural Committee express their true strengths and talent by presenting the best among the best.
Performances and execution were conducted in a hybrid mode. All performances were recorded in person, adding to the excitement and enthusiasm of all the students, while the display of the program was conducted virtually.
Teacher's Day Fiesta 2021
For Teacher's Day 2021, MCC organised an Open Mic and Talent Stage for the teachers, allowing them to portray their creative sides and thanking them for guiding the students with their experience and knowledge. Students also actively participated in the event and showcased their respect and admiration through poems and skits.
